MacPilot

Especially MacPilot, it is doing simple things that can be done using Mac it self. By the way, talking about the dev, I am sorry, bad side is they upgrade their apps too quickly. Baseline is, I think, they sell apps through bundle and promotion, then they upgrade everything.

  1. France & Benelux World Update (1.15.7.0) is now live!

macpilot replied to ChaoticBeauty's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

I have another problem. Now that I have the sim loading. Market place is grayed out. Content Manager has nothing installed. How can I get to the Market Place out side the sim. So I can get the rest of the update? Thank You Bill McCracken
  2. France & Benelux World Update (1.15.7.0) is now live!

macpilot replied to ChaoticBeauty's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

The issue has been confirmed as affecting all stand alone WASM modules. I deleted all items in community folder. Sim loads with no problem. My question is I don't understand WASM modules. How do I identify them in my community folder? So I can put the non effected ones back in the community folder. Bill McCracken
  3. France & Benelux World Update (1.15.7.0) is now live!

macpilot replied to ChaoticBeauty's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

All was fine since the begining (release of the game)... Now it stays stuck on the loading screen (Paris view), so no access to the sim. For me it's just like a.. downgrade, can't use the sim anymore (no addons in the community folder).. I have the same problem. Stuck on loading screen then crash to desktop. I recycled power and had the same problem. Bill McCracken

  5. Frustrated Trying To Save a long Flight To Finish Later

macpilot posted a topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

I have read several methods to save a long flight in progress so that I can come back and resume it at a later time. Am I wasting my time? Is this something that can't be done. I have tried to first pause the sim (P to pause and CTRL P to un pause key I have bound for this purpose) before saving. Tried saving as .FLT and .PLN file. Load the saved file then un paused sim. None of this works for me. The FMC does not have the flight plan loaded as it was when I saved it. So can this be done? Thank You. Bill McCracken
  6. CRJ 700 Engine 1 Problem

And the GOLD Medal goes to 177B. You were spot on. That solved the issue. If you were closer to me I would buy several rounds. Thank You Bill McCracken BTW nice setup!
  7. CRJ 700 Engine 1 Problem

macpilot replied to macpilot's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

Yes to red levers. Yes to EFB Calibration. But I am not sure I'm doing it right. Meaning the raw input numbers change when I move and set the Honeycomb throttles. But the throttles in the aircraft don't move. So i have a hard time seeing TOGA, Climb, and Idle. Is this the way its supposed to work? Thank You. Bill McCracken
  8. CRJ 700 Engine 1 Problem

macpilot posted a topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

I have been trying for a couple of days to find out why my eng 1 N1 doesn't go above about 20. Never being able to get full power. I have search and tried every thing relating to this. I have the Honeycomb Throttle. I've set it up for Single, Twin TBM900, 2 engine jet and 4 engine jet. I modified the 2 engine jet profile for the CRJ. That profile throttle has no problem with the default 2 engine jet. Yes I setup the EFB in the CRJ throttle. I start with the ready for taxi mode. Eng 2 is powered up and runs fine. In my research I found the P3D version of the CRJ had similar issues. Nothing on the FS2020 version. So I must be missing something. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You. Bill McCracken

I have been going through BobbyFuzzy's tutorials (very good). I go through them one at a time and save after each. To be used the next day. I have found that the aircraft state from the previous day was not saved. This became a more serious problem. When I started to enter the flight plan. So am I missing something. Is this a known problem with FS2020 or with the CRJ? Thank You Bill McCracken

  13. AreoSoft CRJ and HoneyComb Throttle

macpilot replied to macpilot's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

Thanks to all! I am going through the 'BobbyFuzzy' CRJ tutorial. In the beginning the engines are off. Therefore the throttles don't move. I reloaded the sim and brought up the CRJ at an airport on the runway. Engines on and the throttles work. So again thanks to all for your help. Bill McCracken

  15. AreoSoft CRJ and HoneyComb Throttle

macpilot posted a topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

I have configured the Honey Comb Throttle for a 2 Engine Jet. When I use this configuration the throttles work fine. With the default aircraft. In the CRJ the engine gauges in the cockpit indicate they recognize the Honey Comb throttles. But the throttles in the sim don't move. What have I missed? Thank You. Bill McCracken
